Q: Which countries can this service call?

A: We support most countries worldwide. Whether your number is in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, or elsewhere, the service attempts to place the call. If you encounter an issue in a specific region, please contact us so we can investigate.

Q: Is CallMyNumber.org really free? What is the catch?

A: Yes, it is free. We limit the number of calls per user per day and cap call duration to manage costs. Operational expenses are covered by modest ads and voluntary donations. You never need to enter payment details.

Q: Is it safe to use this service?

A: We take privacy seriously. Your number is used only to place the requested Call My Number call, and although we retain the dialed number plus the requesting IP for an extended period to stop abuse and support lawful investigations, that data is never sold or repurposed. The website uses HTTPS encryption to protect your session.

Q: What number will the call come from?

A: The call may appear from an unfamiliar or generic caller ID. Because we route through various outbound lines, screening apps that block unknown callers might need to be disabled briefly so you do not miss the ring.

Q: I am receiving prank calls. How can I stop them?

A: We do not tolerate harassment. Please visit the Do Not Call page to add your number to our Do Not Call list. Once submitted, future calls from CallMyNumber.org will be blocked. For serious abuse, contact us with details; we log IP information and will cooperate with authorities when needed.

Q: What data do you store about calls and for how long?

A: We store the phone number, timestamp, and requesting IP for as long as necessary to prevent misuse and to respond to legitimate requests from law-enforcement agencies. Q: Can I use the service to call someone else’s phone?

A: The Service is intended for your own phone or a number you have permission to call. Using it for pranks or harassment violates our Terms and will result in bans or further action.

Q: My phone is on silent. Will this still help me?

A: If the phone is on silent or vibrate, a call may still make it buzz or light up. If it is truly silent, use manufacturer tools like Find My iPhone or Find My Device to override silent mode. We also share tips on our blog.

Q: What if my phone is turned off or out of battery?

A: If the phone is off, the Service cannot ring it. Try to remember where it was last powered on and charge it once found. When it is back online, you can initiate another call.
